We request information from you on our subscription order forms. This information includes data that can identify you as a specific individual, such as your name, address, phone number, credit card number or e-mail address. This information is used for order fulfillment, billing, customer service and to understand your areas of interest. You must provide delivery information and when applicable, your credit/debit card number for us to fulfill your order. You may also be asked to supply a password that gives you access to your profile. If you give a gift subscription to a friend or family member, you will provide their information. We will use the information only to process your order and send the magazine to your gift recipient. Unless the recipient visits our site and personally registers to become a member, his or her information will not be added to our active mailing list, but will only be retained in our database for accounting and current or future customer service purposes. If you visit our programs by linking through one of our partners or affiliates, they may forward us your delivery and credit/debit card information, saving you from reentering the information on our sites.

If you have been offered our services through one of our marketing partners or affiliates (see "Use of Information" section below), we may share the information you enter with that partner or affiliate. To do so, we may use a technology called clear GIFs, which automatically and securely transfer the information you enter. In the future, we may also use other similar technologies in our offers for the same purpose. If we do so, we will modify our privacy policy accordingly. We log IP addresses (a unique number assigned to every computer on the Internet) in order to improve security, analyze trends and administer our offers. We may track your movement within the site, the pages from which you were referred, access times and browser types. We only use this information in aggregate and do not link it to you personally.

We provide your information to our third party service vendors with whom we have contractual relationships for the purpose of servicing our processing of your magazine subscriptions. These vendors provide various services on our behalf such as customer service, web hosting, billing, and fulfillment. b. Publishers

When you purchase a magazine, we forward your contact and address information to the applicable magazine publisher for fulfillment. We do not forward your credit/debit card information to the magazine publishers. The magazine publishers for the titles you have ordered may use the information you provided to present you with other opportunities in accordance with their own privacy policies. When requesting a magazine, we encourage you to read the privacy statement of the publisher for that magazine; we do not review the privacy policies of the publishers in our program and are not responsible for their actions.

c. Retailers/Special Offers

When you choose to accept a special retail offer, we forward your contact information to the applicable retailer and/or sponsor for fulfillment. The retailers and/or sponsors for the offers you have chosen to receive may use the information you provided to present you with other opportunities in accordance with their own privacy policies.

d. Third Party Marketing Affiliates

If you accept one of our offers by linking through one of our partners or affiliates, your information also may be shared with the partner or affiliate which originated the link to our site. These partners and affiliates may use the information you provided to present you with other opportunities in accordance with their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy policies of our partners and affiliates.

e. Exceptional Circumstances

Please note that if MyPrice Magazines or any of their lines of business or affiliates are sold or disposed of as a going concern, whether by merger, sale of assets or otherwise, the relevant customer database of MyPrice Magazines could, in whole or in part, be sold as part of that transaction. We also may have to release personally identifying information when it is necessary to comply with judicial or other government subpoenas, warrants or orders.

Subscription offers may contain links to other sites. Please be aware that MyPrice Magazines is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of each web site that collects personally identifiable information. We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer.
